David is the founding partner of TSF. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing and regulatory advisory, entertainment, digital asset, renewable energy project advisory and other corporate commercial transactions.

 

David has advised domestic and international clients in transactions involving companies in industries such as aviation, insurance, fund management, renewable energy, healthcare, online marketplace platforms, commodities and oil and gas.

 

David has also advised renewable energy companies on various EPCC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements and Operation and Maintenance Agreements for solar power projects.

WORK HIGHLIGHTS

 

  • Advised Bintang Capital Partners on its strategic investment in Project Studio Sdn. Bhd., which owns seven (7) business entities in Malaysia, operating the trade name called “The Flow Studio – Yoga & Pilates”.
  • Advised a Malaysian biotechnology company on its acquisition of a medical device manufacturing company with a transaction value of RM11 million together with its investment round where it has raised an investment of RM25 million.
  • Advised a public company listed on the Singapore Exchange, in its strategic acquisition of a Singapore-based engineering company and its wholly-owned Malaysia subsidiary, with a total transaction value of approximately SGD9.6 million.
  • Advised Kairous Capital on its strategic investment in Mantayay Global Holdings Pte. Ltd., representing Mantayay’s first institutional fundraising round.
  • Advised Amazon Papyrus Chemicals Limited as the local counsel on its acquisition of 100% of the issued shares in I-Chem Solutions Sdn. Bhd. with a total transaction value of approximately RM20 million.
